About Homeschool Momentum
What is Homeschool Momentum?
Homeschool Momentum is parent education and planning support for families homeschooling children with learning differences and special needs. It provides practical tools — learning plan templates, weekly rhythm builders, progress note systems, observation logs, documentation organizers, and question checklists for tutors, providers, and programs — built by Special Ed Resource. The focus is momentum: realistic plans that survive real weeks.
What is Homeschool Momentum not?
Planning support only. Homeschool Momentum does not provide legal advice, medical advice, diagnosis, therapy, behavioral treatment, school-district representation, ESA or scholarship eligibility determinations, or reimbursement guidance. Every tool routes those questions where they belong: clinical questions to your child’s qualified professionals, legal and state-requirement questions to your state education department, and funding-program questions to your program’s official handbook and staff.
What ages and needs do the tools serve?
The tools are written for parents of school-age children and are need-agnostic by design: the same planning, records, and question-building structures adapt across ADHD, autism, dyslexia and other reading differences, processing differences, and children without any label at all. Pathway-specific tools go deeper on ADHD and executive function, autism support, dyslexia and reading, funding documentation, and learning rhythm.
Do you need my child’s records or personal information?
No — and we don’t want them. Our products are for parents: we never ask for your child’s name, diagnosis, evaluations, or IEP/504 documents, and our tools never require submitting information about your child to us. Worksheets you download are yours; what you write on them stays with you.
Pricing, guarantee, and billing
How much does it cost?
The Starter Pack is $29, one time. Homeschool Momentum Membership — all 64 current resources, guided pathways, action planning, and ongoing additions — is $15 per month or $144 per year, saving $36 versus paying monthly. The first 25 founding families may choose a $99 first year that renews at the regular $144 annual price unless canceled.
Can I apply my Starter Pack purchase toward membership?
Yes. If you upgrade to an annual membership within 30 days of buying the $29 Starter Pack, we will apply that $29 purchase price toward the annual membership. Contact support from the email address used for your purchase so the credit can be verified.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes — a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first Homeschool Momentum purchase. If it isn’t a fit, contact us within 30 days of that initial purchase and we’ll refund the first payment in full. Renewal payments are not covered by the guarantee, so to avoid an unwanted renewal charge, cancel before your renewal date.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancellation stops all future charges, there is no cancellation fee, and you keep full access through the end of the period you already paid for. You can cancel from the billing management link in any receipt email, or simply ask support and we’ll handle it.
What happens if a renewal payment fails?
Your access stays open for a 7-day grace period while you update your payment method. If payment isn’t recovered within that window, membership access pauses until it is — your account history and any one-time purchases are unaffected either way.
Homeschooling questions
Is homeschooling legal in my state?
Yes — homeschooling is legal in all 50 US states. What varies, and varies widely, is the requirements: notice of intent, required subjects, hours, assessments, and recordkeeping all differ by state. Your state education department’s homeschool page is the official source; verify there rather than in forums, which tend to mix several states’ rules together.
Does my child keep their IEP if we homeschool?
Generally, no — an IEP is a public-school document, and when you withdraw to homeschool it typically stops being implemented. But nearly everything inside it stays valuable to you: the evaluations, present levels, accommodations, and goals become the foundation of your home plan. What services, if any, continue for homeschooled students varies by state and district — ask your district in writing.

How do downloads and delivery work?
After purchase, download links arrive by email. Links expire after 7 days for security — and re-issuing them is free and unlimited: just reply to any of our emails or contact support from the email address you purchased with, and fresh links will be on their way.
How do I reach support?
